چکیده
Studies on endemism are always of high interest in biogeography and contribute to better understanding the evolution species making conservation plans. The present study aimed investigate patterns planthoppers China by delimiting centers areas endemism. We collected 6,907 spatial distribution records for 860 endemic planthopper from various resources. Centers were identified using weighted values at 1° grid size. Parsimony analysis endemicity employed detect 1°, 1.5°, 2° sizes. Six located mountainous identified: Taiwan Island, Hainan eastern Yungui Plateau, Wuyi Mountains, western Qinling Yunnan. also delimited six endemism, which generally consistent with Our findings demonstrated that have an essential role facilitating level formation through combined effects complex topography, a long-term stable environment, geological events. Planthoppers of Delaware (Hemiptera, Fulgoroidea), excluding Delphacidae, with species Incidence from adjacent States
The number of species of planthoppers (excluding Delphacidae) known from Delaware is updated from 7 (in 4 families) to 62 species (in 9 families). Specimen abundance is tallied by county and seasonally by two week intervals. The Chao1 abundance estimator suggests that the true fauna may be 74 species, although species incidence tallied from adjacent states (MD, NJ, PA and DC) suggests that a to...
متن کاملA Preliminary Molecular Phylogeny of Planthoppers (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea) Based on Nuclear and Mitochondrial DNA Sequences
The planthopper superfamily Fulgoroidea (Insecta: Hemiptera) is one of the most dominant groups of phytophagous insects. It comprises about 20 families, containing a total of 9000 species worldwide. Despite several recent studies, the phylogeny of Fulgoroidea is not yet satisfactorily resolved and the phylogenetic positions of several key families, especially Cixiidae, Delphacidae, Tettigometri...
متن کاملWill Climate Change Affect Outbreak Patterns of Planthoppers in Bangladesh?
Recently, planthoppers outbreaks have intensified across Asia resulting in heavy rice yield losses. The problem has been widely reported as being induced by insecticides while other factors such as global warming that could be potential drivers have been neglected. Here, we speculate that global warming may increase outbreak risk of brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stål.). We present data ...
